VDL is a conglomerate of industrial business. The conglomerate was formed by buying independent companies. After the acquisitions the company websites were abolished no matter the business value. All the companies have to conform themselves to the corporate identity of VDL while they still are responsible for their own P&L.
VDL needed a new website that would help the company to make better use of the online channels. Our concept was meant to combine the strength of the corporate identity with the unique and strong proposition of the individual companies.
